Autumn Show 2015
The recent Autumn Show was a great success. Once again there was a fine display of vegetables and fruit. In the flower section there was a particularly large entry of foliage, creating quite a forest on one of the tables. In the domestic classes there were cherry cakes, tea loaves, cheese scones, quiche and pots of jam, all carefully tasted and assessed. As last time there was a good selection of photographs, every one of which had a written comment on it from our excellent new judge. We are grateful to everybody who helped make this another very enjoyable and successful afternoon, exhibitors and helpers alike, but particularly to our Show Secretary, Henry Prince, who always puts an enormous effort into this significant village event.
